As a system administrator, I often get lots of brand new PCs. And I need to install all the free applications like VLC, Java, Notepad ++, 7zip, Open Office, and so on.
It is quite a boring and routinely task to go to all the websites, download installers and install them all one by one. But recently I stumbled across one very good service online, allowing you to install all these free apps at once. It is called Ninite.
It makes the installation all the desired applications very simple. You just go to their website, pick the apps you want, click the blue button “Get Ninite” and that’s it. You get a customized installer which installs all the desired applications you chose.
The software even recognizes previously installed apps and skips them if needed.
