Often people ask me which laptop to buy. I always try to explain to them this is not a straightforward question, therefore not a straightforward answer.

It's funny to see their faces when I start asking them questions like:

"What do you need it for? Do you need a laptop for everyday personal use or a small business for word processing? Are you mostly staying at home or do you travel a lot? Does it need to be able to run the latest games on it or you are gonna need it only for office work and watch movies on it once in a while? Are you a programmer so you need it mostly for professional IT stuff? Or maybe you are a designer or video editor. So you need one with the best processor and graphics card. Not to mention a high-speed SSD drive. Are you a student without and you need it just for college? Do you have some preferred brand in mind like HP, Dell? Maybe you need it just for your kids and you don't want to spend too much money on it (as they may break it quite easily lol :D)."

And so on... You see, there are a plethora of different laptops with all the different specifications on the market. So you need to know first what do you need it for in order to ask the main question "what is the best laptop".

This is why I created this subtopic on my website. To help people to decide which laptop is the right one for their certain needs.
