News Release
WINDHAM, New Hampshire, December 19, 1997. Due to repeated requests from customers, Alternative System Concepts Inc. (ASC) has decided to enter the translation service business as a market test. We want to see if the perceived market is really there. Offering translation services to our customers is yet another way ASC can help them get to market faster. ASC is already offering tools for both VHDL to Verilog (VHDL2verilog) and Verilog to VHDL (verilog2vhdl) translation. We will be offering a new business model with a focus on quick turnaround which cannot always be achieved if a customer has to buy and learn how to use a new tool. For a nominal fee ASC engineers will look at any HDL design that needs to be translated and provide a quote for complete translation within 2 business days. "With the IP business taking off, we see many customer issues with VHDL cores in Verilog designs, and vice versa," remarks Jake Karrfalt, ASC's president, "but because integration occurs only once, customers are looking for a one-time translation service instead of a permanent translation solution, which is exactly what ASC is offering now". The service will be available immediately. For more information on the translation service, please email or contact Robert DiGrazia via phone at 603-437-2234 or Email at . Alternative System Concepts acknowledges trademarks or registered trademarks of other organizations for their respective products and services. |
